One more picture and an email from Germany.

Dear Dixie, Dear Clarke,
Sugar was born 2001/04/13 (the litter had two male dogs, three bitches), she is very intelligent and a
very fast dog. Working with her is fun and she is already very successful. We rarely can go hunting over
here, so mostly we have to work with dummies. In September last year Sugar passed the
dummy-test for beginners. The judges noticed her good work. On the 22nd and 29th March
(a few days ago) she passed the first national dummy-working-tests (15th place out of 55 dogs and
17th out of 53 dogs). 2003/04/12 another national working-test will take place. On the 13th April
Sugar has to pass the hunting-test for teenies with cold animals (300 meter drag, marked retrieves
water/land, blind retrieves - free search -, and so on). She should pass this test easily (we think so).
On the 17th April we are going to travel to Denmark for the Danish teeny-test. As you can see, we
are busy and proud of this great dog - thanks to you and Beanie. The American field-trial-descendants
are not that common in Europe. We onlyÊknow of two dogs ofÊ American descendant and they are
fantastic. The interest in these dogs is increasing because of the dogs good performance and their
health - this is not always the case with the English ones. For sure you can use the photos of Sugar for
your homepage - we would very pleased. By the way, we found your homepage, search with Google
for: "Mioak's No Beans About It"! That's the end for today and we really hope to hear from you again.

Yours Detlev and Marion

Thanks for the emails and the wonderful pictures!
Clarke
